Sounds Primal

Percussion sounds primal. Wasn't too fond of the rest of the track only because it's not my type of music but it didn't exactly sound bad either. Just not my type. I'll rate what I think it deserves unbiasedly. 8+5

Did you use real instruments on this one? Sounds like you did...if you did that's awesome and I encourage more Newground Audio Portal artists to do the same. If not that's ok too lol.

Pondering

When I hear this I feel like it could be a great song for someone in a movie reflecting or pondering on things. It almost has a tainted feel to it since the music warps a little bit at the high points.

The track seems completely different the second half (cus it is duh, lol). I don't think it meshes well at all with the first half. Maybe, break them up into two separate songs.

Anyway, the track is good but I'd rip it in two. I'll pop you an eight and a five.

Great track. I've played BoF 1-4. Which was your fav? Anyway, nice tune. I'm glad you put it up!

I've played em all, including the horrible PS2 BoF. honestly, something about Breath of Fire 3 really caught me. Probably the upgrade in graphics and sound is what did it, but I really enjoyed it.

Great track pre-bedtime

This is the kind of track I would pop in as I relax my mind and body as I try to send myself to sleep. Also...these are real instruments? If so, that's kick ass because not many Newgrounders do that anymore! Love the nature sounds in the background. Nice job.

It felt like you mixed two different songs together into one song. I don't feel they connected with each other well. If I were to rate them both separately I would rate them both higher...but together I don't think they mix with each other well.

I like the piano in the back but it doesn't mesh well with the cool drum beat in the front of the song. Anyway, that's my 2 cents on all your work. You're pretty good and I feel like you have something unique about the way you do music...but I don't think it shined out in this last one. Anyway, dude. Have a good day!

Wow, this is an awesome song. Great beat and I loved it even more after 1:00 or so. Sounds really nice. I would make this a 10 if you put a bit more content in it...otherwise this is a solid tune.

This is a very abstract Merry Christmas song. It doesn't sound like it very much BUT that's a good thing for me lol. I'm not a huge fan of the original Merry Christmas song. It got annoying a few years of Christmas ago lol.

I like your different view of it but the negative feelings of the original song affect me liking this song more.

Question: This was the Merry Christmas song right? I heard a little bit of it around 00:26 - 1:05 or so. Is it just in the background? 6/10 5/5

It's Ok

This is the 3rd song of yours I checked out. You have a theme to your music which I like. It's got a natural vibe to it which is awesome. I feel this piece of music is lacking a bit of content though. Maybe try experimenting with expanding the world of the song and making a bit more happen in it. All in all though, I think this is pretty good and could be great with a bit touching up here and there.
