[Bittersweet Dusk]

Missing

Not bad. It had a good sound to it but needed some additional work. The piano felt like it over powered the song. The guitar was really nice though. I felt the song was a bit more conveyed through the guitar than the Piano. Didn't quite feel like you hit the blues on the Piano.

Overall you have a good song here with potential that needs a bit more TLC to get noticeable better. Peace

Thanks for the advice! Blues was not conveyed through the piano, that was the 'hybrid' part. I'm going to spend more time mastering my work to get better balance and eventually 5.1 stereo (I wish!). That should help with the overall sound and blend.

It actually sounds pretty good. It's very upbeat and cheery. Much like your author comment? Hmm...am I seeing a connect here to who you are or am I reading into this a bit too much. Nice tune worth at least an 8 if not more.

Sounds great

For the life of me I can't remember who Rydia was.....was she the Summoner on FFV or someone from FFVI? Arg. Brain Hemorrhage. Sounds very beautiful. You did a great job on this piece.

Didn't sound all to ambient to me, bub! Although, it did sound pretty good.

There's almost a very slight Japanese undertone to parts of the song. Seems teensy though. The only really ambient things was that low humming sound in the back. Hmm indeed!!!

Sounds good

The song sounds very chirpy and happy. This could sound like music to a SNES game or something where you're in a park. One of those older '90 SNES Side-scrollers.

I only one problem with the song. It sounds a bit repetitive at times... The song is great but the main melody feels a bit looped. If you were to expand the song and have more variations I could give this piece a higher score...

Although, this IS getting an 8 to show you that it IS good. You could probably have made it a 10 to me with a bit more variation~ Overall...I think it sounds pretty good. Nice work. ^.-

Piano fits in well

You've got a real interesting piece here. What kind of string instrument was it that you used at the start? Regular guitar? I'm not the best guesser of instruments heh. Piano came in later and sounded really fitting. I loved how the song drifted off and ended over the last 30 seconds or so.

Overall sounds pretty well made. nice job

There is about half a teaspoon of repetitiveness somewhere in there. About 90% of the song sounds good though so I wouldn't worry too much. You got something good here, buddy. Keep up the good work.

Good

First of all. I have to really praise your bass. Kinda almost sounds like a drum but it seems to me like a really rocking bass riff. For some reason Bass and Drums don't get as much respect as they deserve compared to the sounds that pop out at you more. The bass is awesome.

You made this song pretty epic in about two and a half minutes or so. There is a lot going on in here and it's really dramatic. Damnit, I love the bass lol.

Seriously...good job giving love to the bass riff. Drums were pretty good and the song itself...like I said Epic. I'm tempted to 10 this but it's not quite there....just not quite there yet. I'll give you a really lovely 9 though. Peace.

This is why I like to start songs with the sounds that kind of end up in the backround, so the bass rif gets more attention, and the bass is what makes this particular song, imo. Glad you liked it, thanks for the good review! =)

Decent beat

It's an ok beat. The ambient sounds in the back are pretty good too.
