Ahh, great beat

I like the percussions you used. Not sure what the percussion instrument you used to create the drum sound with a little hollow after sound to it but yeah. pretty cool. Make it longer, ok?

flashmac responds:

Thanks man. The drum your talking about is a Tabla. Great instrument by the way. But yeah this is only a preview. I will upload the finished one later.

Sounds very very good

Excellent job here, bud. You made it sound very grand and epic. I like it a lot. Guess what? 10/10 5/5 +5.00 to score.

Everything works together so nicely. You hit gold on this one. I really mean it. Nice work !

Foxtacy responds:

Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO much! you don't know how glad i am to hear that!. \(^_^)/

Hmm

I do like the drum beat. It almost sounds like someone is actually creating the beat with a slapping rhythm. Although a bit repetitive, don't you think? If you would have created more and different content to the song I think the original beat you have here could really do something bigger and make a cool sounding song.

Zoniao responds:

I know what you mean, i didn't really mean to make it that long, you know?

Sounds like good RPG music

Ahh, Newgrounds. Big fan of RPG music. I gotta give a shout out to RPG Music.

This really sounds like it could make a great tune for like traveling in a desert in an RPG or something. Brushlands too I guess :P

Overall I think you did a great job and made something listenable.

wisdumcube responds:

Thanks for the review. And yeah, it kind of does sound like some theme that could be found in an rpg huh?

Grilled Squirts

Sounds pretty good. Did you use a real piano for this? My ears felt like maybe the beginning was out of tune a bit. I could be wrong. The overall song sounds pretty good. Keep up the good work.

With love,
Mike Shinoda from LP <3

micklure responds:

Not a real piano unfortunately. Just an interesting plugin. I get the same feeling though. Thanks.
Revision: I think something happened when I converted this to mp3. The beginning isn't supposed to be messed up like that. huh...oh well.

Poopstain De'laine

Nice author comment lol. I'm sure you can find a keygen to unlock the free trial of the software out if you do a google search. cough...you didn't hear that from me.

As for YOUR AUDIO submission. it sounds decent. You're not giving yourself enough credit. Or perhaps it's a ploy to have me vote high! Aha figured it out. j/k lol

This is something from a Mario Kart game or something deducing by the title? Hard to tell. It sounds like you've snagged a nice tune here BUT you haven't pushed it as far as you could have. Hard to describe but I think you have something overall good in this tune. I'd play with it a bit more.

Good enough

It's good enough for an actual song. Don't quite need to remake it. This definitely sounds much different than the original and I like it when people don't make it too closely like the original and put more of themselves in there. Not bad.

DjOpposite responds:

Thanks for the review, man! :)

Was ok

This track is noticeably lower volume than maybe what it should be. Then again you could maybe have consciously did it for an effect since it does feel very soft sounding. The visual of Downy blankets come to my mind lol.

It's an OK tune and I don't really have any complaints.

Question...what program do you use to create your music?

kevs91 responds:

The volume is something I'm still trying to solve- when I record something (piano, for example), there's a limit to how loudly I can record it without very noticeable static and distortion popping up. So there's a max volume I can have that at, then I have to mix around that so it's still noticeable in the track and still fits with everything else, which means everything else is soft as well. I have a fade in at the beginning in the hope that people will turn it up louder than they normally would because the beginning is so quiet, and then when it gets to the actual volume the track is at it will be loud enough.

I use Garageband, and it's fine for what I do- mostly recordings, and then there's enough customization for the software stuff and the 3rd party synth things I use to make it not lame, as one would expect from a program that most people don't really know how to use correctly.

Sorry for the essay in response, and thanks for the review.

Oh my

This may sound weird...but this tune really made me want to take up learning how to create music. You hit a unique sound and I totally think this piece kicks ass. It's sooo interesting sounding I gotta favorite this. I'm probably gonna download a program to make some music for fun too :D

STU-PIDASO responds:

well, thanks.

it is not really a song that i made, just an experiment.
it has prompted me to actually record a true song now.....perhaps even with lyrics.
(except i need someone else to sing it)

i recommmend getting something to make some music with. it is very fun, and as long as you like it...that is all that matters.

heh you don't like?

It actually sounds pretty good. There's this ethnic feeling to it. For the most part I think you under rated yourself. . .

Although, sometimes I do feel like something may be out of tune (and or) some beats aren't hitting consistently on beat. Hard to decipher. I'll let you make that decision :)

Overall, you undercut how you did and I think this was a pretty enjoyable tune.

UntitledWhite responds:

well, thank you for the honest review

i do tend to underrate myself sometimes... hopefully i can get over that.

glad you enjoyed it!
