[FFXI: Pointy Hats]

Not bad

I haven't played FFXI in about 6 months now. I'm actually going into withdrawls for the first time since a few days ago and this Flash reaaaaally didn't help lol. I thought it was ok. Seeing all those images , references and O-Hats(!) brought back memories.

Nice job here. I'm also making a Mario Sprite flash although I have no Flash experience and I think you did a great job on this. I'm glad to see this Flash was so successful. My favorite part of the entire Flash was when Mario was running away from the explosion. I thought the way you did it was genius regardless what anyone else thinks! Nice work :D

I Chuckled A Few times

Not bad. These are your first flashes so it's cool. I think you should compress your sounds and your files when you export the movie into a .swf file. It will dramatically reduce the megabytes used. I liked the "Boo"t clip the most. Keep workin' on it ;D

Funny intro

Best part for me was the intro with the Granny. "How does it work" *SPPP-LAAAAT* Good times, good times.

I thought this was going to be a Weapon tutorial lol. I was like...that Granny won't kill that guy...this is a PG Tut......SLPAT. Oh shit lol.

I like that you're making retro video gaming clips. That's great.! I also fully agree with your author comments about back in the old days "Tips, tricks & definitely...FAQs" were a think of rumors, tongue and cheek and of course the game manual. The video was a bit too zany for my tastes but watchable. It's ok...keep up the good work.

First Flash?

Its Ok. Could use some more work. You should go a bit deeper into the Flash and the Parodies you make. It felt very 1+2=3 style. i.e Mario Jumps = 1 Mario Falls = 2 Mario dies = 3

If you went a bit deeper and thickened the plot a bit this could be really good. You seem to know at least the basics of how to use Flash effectively so I know if you did do it you could take this movie much farther. Cheers~

Didn't one of the Clocks create the song or something? Or at least the original video of the old Whistle blowing mini-flash? This was pretty good. Could have used more work in making it more interesting. Although, it was a pretty fun flash due to the lightning, jumpy music and jumpy images which equals fun.

Nice remake of the second one was it? Sweet updated graphics! I want to know how you made that AWESOME shockwave that bent reality a bit. It looked so good. Much respect to you. 5 Weeks of hard work payed off I love this :D

"In a land where idiocy seems to be something everyone is proud of" --- I don't think I could have described Newgrounds any more perfect than that. I really don't! LOL!

The flash was OK. I really feel you should have made the text a bit slower...maybe 1/5th more speed to them and changed the font on them to make it more clear to read and see. Other than that it's a pretty entertaining sprite based Flash.

It was more towards the end where I started to rush the speed of the text, but I am going to start the sequel very soon, and when I do I'll add buttons to skip to the next text. If memory serves me correct, I was going to do that with this movie, but I completely forgot by the time I started it. :O
