[Advanced Flash Tutorial!]

Hey thanks!

You have a really great tutorial here. It looks really expertly done compared to some of the other tutorials I've been watching. Sounds, motions , content is all top notch when you made this. Really great job.

You helped me figure out why the hell my sounds don't work when I make Pause and Play Buttons (gotta set it to stream!) Also, was great for refreshing me in things I learned but haven't used yet.

I completely agree with you. I dislike emos very much. This game however is really well done. You made the tamogotchi symbol look really good. I enjoyed throwing bricks at him and hearing him moan lol.

The sound effect you used to make him go ,"Ugggh..." was perfect. I wouldn't retouch it in any other way.

I'm completely glad my EmoGotchi committed suicide :(
Normally, I try to keep my Tomogotchi alive . . . not on this one. That emo trend needs to just stop......

Decent game

It was ok. I like how everything in the game was really smooth though. Fun music too. How much did Max games pay ya for this one?

[Sprites: Done Right]

Carbuncle you Rock

Carby! You helped me figure out what I'm doing wrong in making my sprites animated. I gave up on making my sprite movie a long time ago because I couldn't get the darn things to move in a Movie Clip. I owe your expertly done Tutorial to that.

I'm not sure if you will update this or if you bother to peek into this Review summaries every once in a while but you can DEFINITELY improve this flash with a Back feature to go back a frame and see the last instructions over again. Although, the information about sprites in here is sooo good I still have to give you a Ten out of Ten 10/10

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I haven't been really spot on writing on reviews since I've been so busy with college and animation classes but I enjoy reading comments none the less.

I do have aspirations of one day updating it to SDR V 3.0 but only when I get a full amount of time I can dedicate to it, and get myself away from work, school and WoW ; )

Decent First Game Submission

This is a pretty decent game seeing how you say it's your first game so I'll be nicer.

It's straight to the point and doesn't need a seperate rule page which is nice since I'm not a big fan of 5 Page Long rule books.

I think Peter's default spot in the game should be at the bottom of the page so I don't start off inside a bull already. I thought the game was glitched for a second because I'd hit Play and .001 seconds later I'd see him dead lol. I realize the reason that may be is because the Play button is in the top portion of the screen so by default you start off there. Maybe, move it down a little bit.

I thought it was HILARIOUS of Peter yelling , "HELP...HELP MEEE-E-E-E-E-E~" lol

As for the game itself...it's a bit slow paced. I found myself sitting at one spot for about 45 seconds before a Bull came in that direction and all I had to do was plant him in the opposite corner. But then my A.D.D. kicked in and I ran off to write the review.

All in all it's a decent first time game.

P.S. I especially liked the drawing of Peter's eyeball impaled by the bull lol

i dont know anything about making a lives-counter, or score, or a way to "disarm" the bulls...that would be nice...

but im more of a movie maker anyway...

if i decide to make another game i will try to make it more..."game-like"

Game was OK

I love the Tankman so I gave this game a whirl. Graphics are pretty good. Gameplay is about average. Sound is decent.

You should make it a teensy bit more hard and maybe add some power-ups? Sounds good to me! :D

WOW AN RPG IN FLASH?

I would have thought it would have been too complex to make one in a Flash Player? Action Script up the Wazooo. Good job, dude! Monkey gamez kicks ass. I'm starting to think they're better than Armor Games! Uhoh, we'll have to find out who wins this tie breaker with some more games :P

Spectacular Game (Rated 5)

Very nice game. I don't know what to say. Graphics sux0red but the actual playing is ACTUALLY PRETTY FUN. I'm gonna play it again after I rate this a 5. Thumbs up.

Not bad

First of all...I loved the Music that you set in the background...very evil sounding to go with the pic of the two guys fighting mid-evil style.

Although, I think it was a bit disorganized. It might have been due to the background which had me jumbling the clothes and accessories up / making it harder to see.

I'm not the biggest Dress Up fan but I think you did a pretty good job. Make the drawings a bit smoother / better and you've got yourself a REAL winner! Thumbs up.
