It would be unfortunate if the internet became regulated and expensive, but these days, people spend way too much time online (facebook, myspace, etc.) so perhaps it would be alright. I dunno. I doubt it will happen.

Well, imagine that I keep coming through your house to get to my work because it's a short cut. Sometimes I bring my friends, sometimes I bring all my co-workers back. You don't want to charge because I'm your friend, but eventually we are all damaging your house... So you charge, or you stop general people accessing your house and restrict it to just priviledged users.
Your childish "Fail" belies little knowledge in the business economics of the situation. I have no idea what Virgin is really doing, but if it's not them, it's another company. Pick a cause and support it, but try and do it with intelligence, not caustic remarks.
