First thing that came to mind was something space-age like sound to it. Sounds real good. Great job. 9/10 :)

[Short Little Piano Loop]

Not bad

The loop transition is slightly noticeable. It's a decent piano loop...I would rate HIGHER truly if it were longer. Loops to me don't get the best ratings even if it sounds good due to the less content less effort as some of the people that make songs that last a few minutes etc. It does sound pretty good though...

About the transitions: I KNOW!! It's so FRIKKEN annoying... I just can't get it right, it's still much better than ones that I had. It's because of the programs that I had to use to get it into a .mp3. It's really hard to convert from MIDI to .wav, then to .mp3.

I know what you mean, but I'm just starting, and so far all I can think up is loops... this is a particularly short (and I think pretty good one).

Yeah, it's got this hip hop edge to it. I can see this music behind something involving evolution and having it cause a "cool" type spin on it. Nice work.

Battle Music Yes

Your right...I think this would be great battle music. I envisioned two thiefs fighting or something when I first heard it. There's a sneakiness in the song. Nice job~

Saxaphone?

Did you use a Saxaphone around 1:20ish ? It sounded good but out of place. The rest of the song doesn't melt well with that part although it sounded pretty good by itself. As for the rest of the song it sounds really nice.

I thought the sax sounded really good in Tiger Eye Tribe so I decided to put it in this song... I probably would've used a different instrument but I can come up with ideas for sax really easy. I'm probably going to be using it a lot more in my music from now on, despite the short range (i hate dealing with that stuff).

BTW... wow. This song got less than two. I think people on this site wont vote high on anything unless it's mainstream rock or trance lol. Anyhow, I'm glad you liked it.

The guitar sounds extremely good. vocals could use a bit of work but I think you did a 9 on this song. Nice work!

Seems like most midis turn out to sounds like retro RPG music. As for your girlfriend...it may seem weird but liking who you are even though she may not (counter intuitive) will make her like you more. Good luck.

hehe j/k. I had trouble understanding what Strawberry Clock was saying lol. I'd work on the melody and actual music a bit more. It feels mostly about the drums to me.

Ah my bad for the slow response on this one.
As for the lack of melody, that is Benassi's style for the most part. They do have a few songs that break rule, but not many. I also happen to suck at melodies =D.
